Meet John

Hello, everybody. I’m John. TERRA LUNA and THE RETURN OF THE FIORGAELS weren’t my ideas. Vikki came up with them. At first I just listened to her describe a Faerie girl who lived in a Treehouse. I started out as her co-author by  writing  the Prologue, which was  very  sad  and  required some knowledge  of aviation. (My late father was a  pilot.) Gradually, I began to add  other bits. Most of the characters and situations are Vikki’s; most of the dialogue and  description is mine. Oh, and before we started, Vikki had never  heard of Little Five Points. I’m the one that knew where City Scones should be.

Before I met Vikki, I worked as  a social worker, at the Center for Independent Living  of North Florida and later at a dialysis clinic. I’ve also been the network administrator for a software company and the  Florida Democratic Party.Vikki and I met at a Halloween Dance in 2002 and married in 2007. She’s my first wife, and I’m her last husband. I have no children of my own, but Vikki gave me three for a wedding  present.

I’m the family cook most of the time. (I don’t do gardening or yard work.) I love everything  about  Louisiana: the music, the food and the history. I also love Scotland  (though I haven’t been yet), but my  vast collection of tropical shirts works better in the South.

I have one  book I’m writing on my  own:  ANJA WANTS YOU TO KNOW SHE WON’T BE EASY TO KILL. It’s a Young Adult thriller. You can  read the first half here.

This is my Facebook. My Twitter feed is on the sidebar.

By  the way, I want you to know that I came up with the two Scots jokes that Barry claimed credit for. When I see  him, I shall make my displeasure known.
